Bridget Wyatt
Henley Pre-school Manager
My name is Bridget and I am the Manager, designated safeguarding lead and senco at Henley Pre-school. I started working at Henley Pre-School in September 2016. I am qualified level 3 in childcare and development as well as a special educational needs coordinator, makaton and pecs trained. Before starting at Henley Pre-School I was deputy manager and SENDco at another setting in Ipswich.
I love working at Henley Pre-school because it’s a small setting and I enjoy working with the amazing team we have at the pre-school.
The children grow in confidence and I enjoy seeing them thrive in a smaller setting, we prepare them to be independent and provide a good start in early education, learning through play and providing a happy environment.
Sarah Burrows
Deputy Manager
Hello my name is Sarah and I am the Deputy Manager and deputy safeguarding lead at Henley Pre-school, I have worked here for 9 years and hold a level 3 childcare and development qualification with special educational needs , pecs and makaton training.
Before joining Henley Pre-school I worked at another local pre-school for eight years as deputy manager and Senco.
I love working with young children and watching them learn, grow and develop but above all else to see them having fun. My favourite hobby has always been baking and I share my love of this with the children by doing exciting and different cooking and food activities with them. I enjoy every day working at Henley Pre-school.
Kerry Brett
Early Years Educator
Hello my name is Kerry, I am an Early Years Educator at Henley Pre-school I joined the team in November 2019.
I started childcare nearly 30 years ago. I have been a deputy manager and worked in a school nursery with many different languages and educational needs that have helped broaden my knowledge further, doing Pecs (picture exchange communication scheme) training, and Makaton which I loved.
I began training and completed NVQs and other certificates and finally doing an early years childhood studies degree and gaining level 4 qualification.
I have enjoyed my childcare education path as it is so rewarding knowing you are caring and providing and giving the best learning opportunities to all that attend.
